This year, I moved away from timing sessions by the hour – I realized it was limiting me creatively to time things that way (AND stressing me out – I am always overstimulated behind the camera, thinking 57 things at the same time). I’m now in a space of spending the time required to truly illustrate a snapshot of my client’s lives. This more relaxed approach has been magical for me, and has allowed better real moments… silly moments that don’t derail a forced time constraint… and more nuance/space for me to think creatively. Here’s some photos from a lovely afternoon spent with this beautiful family who I’ve been with before little guy was even born! I adore these peeps!
